d. Installation.

(1)

Apply sealing compound to threads of fitting (1) and

90-degree (2).

(2)

Install fitting (1) and 90-degree fitting (2) in two

couplings (3).

(3)

Install EMI shielded fuel pump ground wire (4) on

subframe (5) with screw (6), washer (7), and locknut

(8).

WARNING

NOTE

Step (3) requires the aid of an assistant.

Adhesives,

solvents,

and

sealing

compounds can burn easily, can give off

harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin

and clothing.

Keep away from open fire

and use in a well-ventilated area.

If

adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound

gets

on

skin

or

clothing,

wash

immediately with soap and water.

Failure to comply may result in injury to

personnel.
