CRANK-
CASE
Initial valve clearance adjustment on new engines,
rebuilt engines, or remanufactured engines is
required at initial 6,000 miles of engine operation.
The adjustment is necessary due to the initial
wear of the valve train components and seating of
the valve train components.
Notify DS
Maintenance if initial valve clearance adjustment
is required.
Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
