COLD TEMPERATURE OPERATION

For operation of equipment in continuous

temperatures below 0

F (-18 C), remove

lubricants prescribed in the key for

temperature above 0

F (-18 C).

Relubricate

with lubricant specified in the key for

temperatures 0

to -50 F (-18

to -46 C).

a.

Start engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1) and run for

five minutes.

b.

Check for oil leaks around top of engine oil filter.

c.

Shut down engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

d.

Check oil level on engine oil dipstick.

e.

Add engine oil, if required, to bring oil level to full

mark on engine oil dipstick.
