a. Removal.
WARNING
Remove rings, bracelets, watches, neck-
laces,
and
any
other
jewelry
before
working around vehicle.
Jewelry can
catch on equipment and cause injury or
short across electrical circuit and cause
severe
burns
or
electrical
shock.
Batteries can explode from a spark.
Battery acid is harmful to skin and eyes.
Always wear eye protection when working
with batteries.
Failure to comply may
result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
• Note routing of battery to starter cable assembly
prior to removal.
• Tag wires and connection points prior to
disconnecting.
(1) Remove nut (1) and terminal lugs TL39 (2) and TL10 (3)
from battery 24 vdc cable (4).
