Air tanks drained (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).

Tools and Special Tools

Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 46, Appendix C)

Goggles, Industrial (Item 15, Appendix C)

Materials/Parts

Antiseize Compound (Item 58, Appendix D)

Failure to

comply may result in injury to personnel.

a. Removal.

NOTE

• Intermediate and rear axle quick release valves

are removed the same way. Inter-mediate axle

quick release valve shown.

• Tag air hoses and connection points before

disconnecting.

(1) Disconnect three air hoses (1) from quick release valve

(2).

(2) Remove two nuts (3), washers (4), screws (5), washers

(6), and quick release valve (2) from vehicle.
