Loosen clamp (1) on return hose (2).

Disconnect return hose (2) from power steering

pump reservoir (3).

(6)

Remove clamp (1) from return hose (2).

(7)

Pry hose clamp end (4) open.

(8) Disconnect suction hose (5) from power steering

pump reservoir (3).

(9) Remove hose clamp (4) from suction hose (5)

Discard hose clamp.

NOTE

Perform steps (4) through (6) on vehicles

that have previously had a power steering

pump reservoir or power steering return hose

replaced.

NOTE

Perform steps (7) through (9) on vehicles

that have not previously had a power

steering pump reservoir or power steering

suction hose replaced.
