Personnel Required

a. Removal.

(1) Tie guide ropes to each side of cab protector (1).

(2) Remove two spring pins (2) from pivot shaft (3).

WARNING

Cab protector weighs approximately 185

lbs (84 kgs).

Attach a suitable lifting

device prior to removal. Failure to comply

may result in injury to personnel or

damage to equipment.

(3) Remove pivot shaft (3) from right side of cab protector

(1).

NOTE

Step (4) requires the aid of two assistants.

(4) Remove cab protector (1) from dump body (4).

(5) Remove three torsion springs (5) from dump body (4).
