18-6. 200 AMP ALTERNATOR REPAIR (CONT)

(47) Position voltage regulator (67) on end housing (23) with

two washers (71), lockwashers (72), and screws (73).

(48) Tighten two screws (73) to 65 lb-in (7 N·m).

(49) Connect connector (74) to receptacle (75).

(50) Position pulley on shaft (11) with self-locking nut.

(51) Position pulley in vise.

(52) Position fan (76) on shaft (11) with washer (77) and self-

locking nut (78).

(53) Tighten self-locking nut (78) to 50 lb-ft (68 N·m).
