Lubricate in accordance

Check for smooth operation

of U-Joints, stripped splines,

bent yokes, or other problems.

Also check to see if the shaft

itself is bent.

Repair and replace propeller

shafts and U-joints

(para. 6-2 through 6-4).

Check for tom boots on the

CV joints, stripped splines,

smooth joint operation, and

proper mounting torques.

For halfshaft maintenance

procedures,

refer to para. 6-7.

Lubricate in accordance

freely. Check mounting hardware

for proper installation.

check the differential fluid in
