Removal

1.

Rotate spindle (3) to allow clearance

for removal

of stud (4) from spindle (3).

2.

Drive stud (4) from spindle (3). Discard

stud (4).

b.

Installation

1.

Align sphnes

on stud (4) with splines

in spindle (3) and install

stud (4) in spindle (3).

2.

Install

three washers

(2) and hex-nut

(1) on stud (4).

3.

Tighten

hex-nut

(1) until head of stud (4) seats against

spindle (3).

4.

Remove hex-nut

(1) and washers

(2). Discard hex-nut

(1).

FOLLOW-ON

TASK: Install wheel (para. 8-3).
