Remove screw (6) and clip (5) from shutoff valve (8).

2.

Disconnect control wire (4) of heater control cable (7) from pin (3) on shutoff valve (8).

3.

Loosen two clamps (2) and remove shutoff valve (8) from hoses (1).

Install shutoff valve (8) on two hoses (1) and tighten clamps (2).

2.

Install control wire (4) of heater control cable (7) to pin (3) on shutoff valve (8) with clip (5) and

screw (6).

FOLLOW-ON TASKS:

l

Fill cooling system (para. 3-61).

l

Start engine (TM 9-2320-387-10) and check shutoff valve for leaks.
