NOTE

The replacement procedure for the four spring seats is basically

the same. This procedure covers the right front spring seat.

Remove four locknuts (61, washers (41, capscrews (51, washers (41, two spring brackets (31, and spring

seat (1) from frame rail (21. Discard locknuts (6).

b. Installation

Install two spring brackets (3) and spring seat (1) on frame rail (2) with four washers (4), capscrews (51,

washers (4), and locknuts-(62 Tighten locknuts (6) to 260 lb-ft (353 Nom).
