Set transmission range selector (2) to D (drive).

Push in PARKING BRAKE control (3).

CAUTION

Maximum no-load governed engine speed is approximately 2250 rpm.

Do not let engine speed go above this figure. Under full load, governed

speed is approximately 2100 rpm. If engine speed goes above governed

speeds, serious engine damage can result.

Slowly depress throttle pedal (4) until vehicle reaches desired speed. Tachometer (5)

should read 1650 to 2100 rpm.

CAUTION

Do not hold steering wheel at full left or full right position for longer than

10 seconds. Power steering oil can overheat and pump can be damaged.

Accelerate, brake, and steer as required.

NOTE

Check system gauges often during vehicle operation. If gauges read

other than normal, stop engine and troubleshoot problem.
