WARNING
Drycleaning solvent is extremely flammable. Do not use near open
flame. Use only in well-ventilated area and do not breathe vapors.
Notes:
1. For operation of semitrailer in protracted cold temperatures be-
low -l&’ F (-23° C), remove lubricants prescribed in the key for
temperatures above -10° F (-23° C). Clean parts with drvcleaning
solvent. Relubricate with lubricants specified in the kev for temper-
atures @ F to -65° F (-l& to -54° C).
2. OIL CAN POINTS. EverV 1000 miles (1600 km) or monthly,
lubricate hinges, springs, and wheel lugs with OE/HDO.
3. In sandy areas, halve lubrication intervals.
4. For information on converting brake system to silicon brake
fluid (BFS), see TB 43-0002-87.
5. AnnuallV remove, clean, drv, and repack wheel bearings.
