INTRODUCTION
The table in this section lists common malfunctions that maybe found during operation or
maintenance of semitrailer or components. You should perform test/inspections and corrective
actions in the order listed.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective
actions. If a malfunction is not listed or it is not corrected by the listed corrective actions, notify your
supervisor.
EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS
MALFUNCTION
Visual or operational indication that something is wrong
with the trailer.
TEST/INSPECTION
Procedure to isolate the problem to a component or system.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Procedure to correct problem.
