WHEELS AND TIRES

Rotate and match tires

according to tread design and degree of wear. See

TM 9-2610-200-24 for acceptable limits in matching tires. Tighten wheel nuts

(2)

to 225-250 lb-ft. (305-339 Nm).

SERVICE BRAKES

a. Inspect hub and drum for visible wear and scoring

(WP 0016 00-2).

b. Inspect wheel bearings for visible wear and seal for deterioration and

damage (WP 0016 00-2).

c. Inspect brake shoes for wear (WP 0016 00-7).

d. Inspect camshafts for visible wear and damage (WP 0016 00-7).

e. Inspect camshaft bearings for visible wear (WP 0016 00-7).
