To troubleshoot the M969A3 landing gear, perform the test/inspections and corrective actions provided in
Table 1.

Check handcrank for
lubricants.
If lubricants are present, go to
step 2. If no lubricants are
present, lubricate per WP 0044
00. Verify problem is solved.

Check lower landing gear
leg for bends especially
where it retracts into
housing.
If landing gear leg is bent,
replace leg per WP 0084 00. If
leg is not bent, replace drive unit
per WP 0085 00.
