Cleanliness
After operation, especially in mud, salt
environment, or fording conditions, flush
exposed area of axles, axle ends,
suspension, landing gear, underside/
topside of semitrailer and stowage box
with clean, low-pressure water, if mission
permits.
a. Clean and lubricate all parts as
specified in the WP 0022 00 to make
sure water/debris is flushed out of
system.
b. Check all electrical connections for
corrosion and security.
c. Make sure all painted surfaces are
touched up where necessary to
prevent rust.
NOTE
Mission requirements, urgency, safety,
and common sense should be
considered in determining NMC status
of semitrailer.

Check all wheels for cracks, between
and around stud holes and hand holds.
Check all wheels for rust streaks and
grease stains.
