Is 8-14 VDC present at ABS

ECU power/diagnostic

connector pin 3?

No.

Go to (Indication/Condition

3).

1.

Set multimeter to VDC.

Yes.

Go to (Indication/Condition

2).

2.

Disconnect ABS ECU

power/diagnostic cable

connector from ABS ECU.

3.

Connect positive (+) probe

of multimeter to ABS ECU

power/diagnostic cable

connector pin 3.

4.

Connect negative (-) probe

of multimeter to a known

good ground.

5.

Start engine on towing

vehicle and note reading on

multimeter.
