NOTE

Perform the following step if used brake shoes were re-installed.

Turn adjustment nut (16) on slack adjuster (5) until brake lining (17) comes into contact with wheel

drum (6).

4.

Back off adjustment nut (16) until 0.010 in. clearance is between brake lining (17) and wheel drum (6).

5.

Charge air system (WP 0043 23, TM 9-2320-392-10-1).
