Tag and disconnect electrical leads from

thermocouple assembly (39). Remove

thermocouple assembly.

Remove two hexagon plain nuts (40), two

Iockwashers (41), two hexagon head

capscrews (42), loop clamp (43), and

pyrometer lead retaining plate (44).

Remove nonmetallic grommet (45) and

pyrometer panel assembly to thermo-

couple assembly electrical lead (5) from

pyrometer lead retaining plate (44).

Remove two screws (46), two nuts (47),

two lockwashers (48), ground lead (49),

and pyrometer panel assembly (50).

Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts.

Pyrometer panel assembly is a repairable assembly. Refer to page 2-1052.

Driver’s heater electrical control box is a repairable assembly. Refer to page 2-1036.
