Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts.

Heater mount chain is a manufactured item, refer to appendix D.

Vehicular heater is a repairable assembly. Notify direct support maintenance.

Repair is by replacement of authorized parts (TM 9-2350-238-24P-1).

Install vehicular heater (1) and hose clamp

(2) to mounting bracket (3).

Install nonrotating eye bracket (4), three

new Iockwashers (5), and three machine

screws (6) on vehicular heater (1).

Install two new Iockwashers (7), two

hexagon head capscrews (8), and

nonrotating eye bracket (4) on mounting

bracket (3).

If removed, install quick release pin (9)

and new solid rivet (10) to mounting

bracket (3).

If removed, install new heater mount chain

(11) on quick release pin (9).
