Remove light retention bracket (10) from

door (3).

Remove lower light lens (11), lower light

lens (12), and lower lens nonmetallic seal

(13) from door (3).

Remove preformed packing (14) from door

(3).

To remove vehicular stop light (15) from

lampholder assembly (16), snap open

cover of vehicular stop light, insert

screwdriver into center slot, push in, and

turn counterclockwise.

To remove clearance marker light (17)

from lampholder assembly (16), insert

screwdriver into center slot of clearance

marker light, push in, and turn counter-

clockwise.

Remove two machine screws (18) and two

lockwashers (19).

Remove three machine screws (20)

securing lampholder assembly (16) to

parking light (4). Remove lampholder

assembly.

INSPECTION/REPAIR

Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts.

Inspect sockets for corrosion.

Repair is by replacement of authorized parts (TM 9-2350-238-24P-1) which do not meet

inspection criteria.
