INSTALLATION (CONT)
NOTE
The completed wheel assembly must
have between 0.0005 and 0.0050 in.
(0.0013 to 0.0127 cm) actual end
play.

Using face socket wrench, turn round plain
nut (9) clockwise and, at the same time,
rotate idler wheel vehicular wheel hub (2),
first in one direction, and then the other,
until there is a slight bind.
NOTE
Steps 14 and 15 apply to installation
of hub cap radio static suppression
spring.

Install hub cap radio static suppression
spring (15) and pipe plug (16) in access
cover (17).

Install new hub access cap gasket (18),
access cover (17), six new Iockwashers
(19), and six hexagon head capscrews

Back off round plain nut (9) 1/6 to 1/4 turn.

Lock round plain nut (9) in this position by

Torque six hexagon head capscrews (20)
installing flat washer (12), being sure that
to 32 to 35 ft-lb (43 to 47 N-m) (dry) or to
hole indexes with pin.
23 to 25 ft-lb (31 to 34 N-m) (lubricated).

Install new flat washer (13) and hexagon

Lubricate idler wheel vehicular wheel hub
plain nut (14).

Tighten hexagon plain nut (14).
