The vehicle hydraulic system is o f

the open center type and has

pressure only when the hydrauli c

pumps are operating .

Disconnect motor to shuttle valve meta l

tube assembly (1) from traverse brak e

control shuttle valve (2) and lower motor

control line flange support (3) .

Remove two tube nipples (4) and tw o

preformed packings (5) .

Disconnect motor to shuttle valve meta l

tube assembly (6) from traverse brak e

control shuttle valve (2) and upper motor

control line flange support (7) .

Remove tube nipple (8), preformed pack -

ing (9), tube elbow (10), tube fittin g

locknut (11), flat washer (12), an d

preformed packing (13) .

Disconnect cylinder traverse brake con -

trol line nonmetallic hose assembly (14)

from brake pipe hose swivel joint (15)

and traverse brake direct selector linear

valve (16) .

Remove tube reducer (17), preforme d

packing (18), tube reducer (19), an d

preformed packing (20) .

Remove brake pipe hose swivel join t

(15), preformed packing (21), an d

traverse brake nonmetallic seal (22) .

Remove traverse brake control shuttl e

valve (2) from tube nipple (23) .

Remove preformed packing (24), fla t

washer (25), tube fitting locknut (26) ,

tube nipple (23), and preformed packin g

(27) .

Remove two hexagon plain nuts (28) ,

two Iockwashers (29), two hexago n

head capscrews (30), and traverse brak e

direct selector linear valve (16) fro m

motor brake selector valve angle bracke t

Remove two hexagon head capscrew s

Disconnect two tube assemblies (33) an d

remove two preformed packings (34) an d

two tube nipples (35) .

Remove eight socket head capscrew s

(36) and two motor control line flang e

supports (3 and 7) .

Remove two preformed packings (37 )

from two motor control line flange sup -

ports (3 and 7) .

Remove hexagon head capscrew (38) ,

hexagon plain nut (39), and Iockwashe r

(40) securing loop clamp (41) to brak e

hose clamp retaining strap (42) .

Loosen hexagon head capscrew (43) an d

remove brake hose clamp retaining stra p

(42) .
