The vehicle hydraulic system is o f
the open center type and has
pressure only when the hydrauli c
pumps are operating .
Remove eight hexagon head capscrew s
(1), eight Iockwashers (2), and four winc h
motor adapter flange clamp halves (3)
securing manifold to nipple metal tub e
assembly (4) and manifold to nipple meta l
tube assembly (5) to manifold assembl y
counterbalance (6) .
Disconnect two manifold to nipple meta l
tube assemblies (4 and 5) and remov e
two preformed packings (7) .
Remove eight hexagon head capscrew s
(8), eight Iockwashers (9), and four winc h
motor adapter flange clamp halves (10 )
securing two elbow to winch control lin e
metal tube assemblies (11) to vehicl e
drum winch (12) .
Disconnect two elbow to winch contro l
line metal tube assemblies (11) an d
remove two preformed packings (13) .

and connect two elbow to winch contro l
line metal tube assemblies (11) .
Install two elbow to winch control lines
metal tube assemblies (11) to vehicl e
drum winch (12) using four winch moto r
adapter flange clamp halves (10), eigh t
new Iockwashers (9), and eight hexago n
head capscrews (8) .
Install two new preformed packings (7 )
and connect two manifold to nipple meta l
tube assemblies (4 and 5) .
Install manifold to nipple metal tub e
assembly (4) and manifold to nipple meta l
tube assembly (5) to manifold assembl y
counterbalance (6) using four winch moto r
adapter flange clamp halves (3), eight new
Iockwashers (2), and eight hexagon hea d
capscrews (1) .
