Inspection.
Inspection will usually b e
visual and must consist of at least a walk-
around examination of all equipment to ob-
serve any deficiencies that may have oc-
curred. Inspect equipment in open storag e
weekly and equipment in covered storag e
monthly. Immediately after any severe stor m
or environmental change inspect all equip-
ment. The following are examples of things t o
look for during visual inspection :
(1)
Leaks: coolant, fuel, oil, or hydrauli c
fluid .
(2)
Condition of preservatives, seals ,
and wraps. Seals may develop leaks durin g
storage, during exercise, or shortly thereafter .
If leaking continues, refer to maintenance pro-
cedures in this manual or notify direct suppor t
maintenance .
(3)
Corrosion or other deterioration .
(4)
Missing or damaged parts .
(6)
Any other readily recognizable short -
comings or deficiencies .

Rotation.
To assure utilization of al l
assigned materiel, rotate items IAW any rota-
tional plan that will keep equipment in a n
operational condition and reduce maintenanc e
effort .

Removal from Administrative Storage .
Remove preservative materials. Perform th e
next scheduled preventive maintenance ser -
vice and prepare equipment for service as
outlined in TM 9-2350-238-10 .

Servicing.
Resume the maintenance ser -
vice schedule in effect at the commencemen t
of storage as per DD Form 314. See DA PA M
738-750 .
