Step 4 .
Remove vehicl e equipment stowage box for access to rectifie r
(1), refer to
page 2-330. Disconnect lead 480 (2) at rectifier from solenoid pressur e
relief valve. Place red probe in lead 480. Ground black probe. Set MASTER
switch ON. Set LEVEL WIND switch ON. Press either sensing switch t o
close. If multimeter indicates about 24 volts, go to step 5. If multimeter in-
dicates no voltage, replace rectifier, refer to page 2-271. Set MASTER
switch OFF. Set LEVEL WIND switch OFF. Connect lead .
