(2) Filter bypass indicator is not operating when level wind circuits are operatin g
normally .
Step 1 .
Remove lamp (1) from filter bypass indicator, refer to page 2-296. Connec t
multimeter to contacts of lamp. If multimeter indicates about 1 ohm, instal l
lamp and go to step 2. If multimeter indicates infinity, replace lamp, refer
to page 2-296 .
Step 2 .
Remove access panel, refer to page 2-128. Disconnect lead 326 (1) fro m
filter bypass indicator (circuit breaker side). Place red probe in lead 326 .
Ground black probe. Set MASTER switch ON. If multimeter indicates abou t
24 volts, go to step 3. If multimeter indicates no voltage, go to step 4. Se t
MASTER switch OFF. Connect lead .
