SCOPE
This Unit Maintenance technical manual is for your use in maintaining the M88A1, Full-Tracked, Medium, Recovery Vehicle
(Figures 1 and 2). The M88A1 is designed for towing, hoisting, and winching; its purpose is to provide for battlefield recovery
of medium and light combat vehicles.
