Inspection-Acceptance and Rejection Criteria

1.

Prior to application of compound, inspect finish on areas to be painted for peeling, chipping, or otherwise defective coating.

2.

Replace parts where metal is badly torn, missing, broken, cracked, or otherwise damaged.

Painting

1.

Paint all areas indicated in illustration with nonslip walkway compound. Coating shall have a film thickness of 0.03 to 0.06

in. (0.8 to 1.5 mm) (see WP 0002 00 and 0095 00).
