WARNING

When water depth is unknown or deeper than 40 inches, do not attempt to ford stream. Carrier

may sink and personnel could drown.

Personnel could be killed or injured if carrier moves with someone under it. Make sure engine

is stopped, parking brake set, and carrier tracks blocked before crawling under carrier.

NOTE

The following fording procedures apply to the M113A2, M1068, M577A2, M1064, and M1059

carriers.
