Electrical
Two 12-volt batteries supply electricity through the distribution box to the carrier. On the M113A2, M901A1, and M1059
carriers, the two batteries are located on the right sponson. On the M577A2 and M1068 carriers, the two batteries are located
on the right sponson next to the personnel heater. On the M1064A2 carrier, two batteries are located in a drawer on the left
sponson behind the driver. The M981 has four batteries located on the left sponson at the rear of the carrier.
