REMOVAL

WARNING

Contaminated filters are hazardous to personnel. Use precautions when handling filters.

Dispose of filters using trained chemical environment personnel.

NOTE

This task covers replacement of the M8A3 and the M13 air purifier/precleaner and frame.

Differences are noted in respective steps.

1.

Disconnect power cable (1) from air purifier/precleaner (2).

2.

For M8A3 air purifier, remove four hose quick disconnect fittings (4) from air purifier/precleaner (2). For M13

precleaner, loosen two clamps (3) and remove two couplings (5) and clamps from precleaner.

3.

Unfasten latch (6) and lift air purifier/precleaner (2) from frame assembly (7).

4.

Remove four screws (8), eight washers (9), four locknuts (10), and frame assembly (7) from panel. Discard locknuts.
