REPLACE SMOKE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY AND SUPPORT BRACKET

REMOVAL

WARNING

Before you do any maintenance, discharge all capacitors to ground or electrical shock could

injure personnel.

1.

Remove two screws (1), four washers (2), two locknuts (3), and wedges (4) from support bracket (5) and generator (6).

Discard locknuts.

2.

Slide generator (6) out and onto shield. Have helper assist.

3.

Disconnect electrical cable assembly (7) from cover assembly connector 5J1 (8).

WARNING

Compressed air pressure from smoke generator can cause serious injury or death. To avoid

accidents, bleed air before working on air compressor assembly or disconnecting any air hose.

4.

Disconnect air hose (9) from cover assembly connector (10).

5.

Disconnect fog oil hose (11) from cover assembly connector (12).
