REPLACE SMOKE GENERATOR SYSTEM POWER SUPPLY CABLE

Install new grommet (8) on cable assembly (1). Route cable through hole in battery box (9).

4.

Install cable assembly lead (10) on positive battery terminal (11). Secure with screw (12) and nut (13).

5.

Install ground lead (14) on clean, paint-free hull bracket. Secure with screw (15), new lockwasher (16), two washers

(17), and new locknut (18).

6.

Connect cable assembly (19) to control panel assembly connector 1J1 (20).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Connect battery ground lead (WP 0294 00).

2.

Set circuit breaker CB1 to ON. See TM 3-1040-283-10.
