Driver’s power plant access panel removed
(WP 0441 00)
Power plant rear access panels removed (WP 0439 00)

Turn MASTER SWITCH to ON. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
2.
Is TRANS LOW PRESSURE light ON?

Go to trans oil pressure indicator
malfunctions (WP 0056 00).

Turn MASTER SWITCH to OFF. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
2.
Remove plug (1) from lube port switch (2).
3.
Remove lube port switch (2) from tee (3).
4.
Install pressure tester in tee (3).
5.
Start engine; run at 1500 RPM. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
6.
Measure lube pressure with transmission in SL. Use 160 PSI
gauge. Pressure should be greater than 4 psi.
7.
Does pressure gauge read less than 4 psi?

Go to trans oil pressure indicator
malfunctions (WP 0056 00).
