PERSONNEL HEATER MALFUNCTIONS — Continued

Turn HEATER SWITCH to ON. Do not stop at OFF position.

Do blower and pump stay on?

Replace heater ON/OFF/START
switch (WP 0702 00).

Verify no faults found.

Does heater continue producing hot air for 10 minutes?

Replace heater (WP 0703 00
or WP 0704 00).

Verify no faults found.

Listen to heater blower.

Has air temperature increased?

Shut off heater. See TM
9-2350-277-10.

Replace heater (WP 0703 00
or WP 0704 00).

Verify no faults found.

NOTE
Heater will automatically shut off when air inlet
temperature is 60 degrees or above. This is normal.
5.
Run heater on HI for 10 minutes.

Does heater continue producing hot air?

Shut off heater. See TM
9-2350-277-10.

Replace heater (WP 0703 00
or WP 0704 00).
3.
Verify no faults found.

Turn HEATER SWITCH to OFF.

Does blower remain on?
