REPLACE HAND THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY — Continued

ADJUSTMENT

1.

Loosen set screw (3). Push control cable handle (8) full forward.

2.

Place accelerator pedal (9) in full closed throttle position. Tighten set screw (3) in collar (2).

3.

Operate hand throttle control cable (1) and accelerator pedal. Check that control cable does not bind.

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install hull front access cover (WP 0449 00).

2.

Install driver’s power plant access panel (WP 0441 00).

3.

Close power plant access door. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
