REPLACE ENGINE OIL LOW PRESSURE TRANSMITTER AND HARDWARE — Continued

INSTALLATION

NOTE

Coat male tapered threads with sealing compound.

1.

Install reducer (1) and elbow (2) on engine.

2.

Install nipple (3) and tee (4) on elbow (2).

3.

Install adapter (5) in tee (4).

4.

Connect hose (6) to adapter (5).

5.

Install pressure transmitter (7) in tee (4).

6.

Secure pressure transmitter (7) to bracket (8) with clamp (9), screw (10), two washers (11), and new locknut (12).

7.

Connect circuit 34 lead (13) to pressure transmitter (7).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Turn MASTER SWITCH ON (see your -10).

2.

Check the ENGINE OIL LOW PRESS light is on (see your -10).

3.

Start engine (see your -10). ENGINE OIL LOW PRESS light should go off.

4.

Check for oil leaks at engine low oil pressure transmitter (see your -10).

5.

Stop engine (see your -10).

6.

Install driver’s power plant access panel (see your -10).
