REPAIR TOWING PINTLE — Continued

ASSEMBLY
NOTE
Lock (4) and pin (2) are not available as repair parts.
1.
Install new cotter pin (13) and S-hook (14) on chain (12).
2.
Secure chain (12) on hook (5) with screw (11).
3.
Install spring (10) and latch (9) in lock (4).
4.
Install pin (7) in lock (4) through latch (9). Secure with two retaining rings (8).
5.
Install lube fitting (6) in pin (7).
6.
Install lock (4) on hook (5). Secure with pin (2) and two retaining rings (3).
7.
Install lube fitting (1) in pin (2).
8.
Lube two fittings (1) and (6) (WP 0155 00).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install pintle on carrier (WP 0433 00), or on tow pintle extender assembly (WP 0811 02).
2.
Close pintle lock (see your -10).
