13. Install washer (5) on shaft (2).

14. Install woodruff key (6) on shaft (2).

NOTE

When installing arm on shaft, make sure chamfered edge on arm faces front of vehicle.

15. Install arm (7) on shaft (2) and secure with screw (8) and new locknut (9). TIGHTEN LOCKNUT TO 17-20 LB-FT

(23-27 N·M) TORQUE.

16. Install four screws (10), washers (11), and new lockwashers (12) and secure bracket (3) with shaft (2) to bulkhead.

17. Guide shaft (2) through bracket (13). Secure bracket and ground lead (14) to bulkhead with six screws (15), new

lockwashers (16), and washers (17).
