REPLACE STEERING WHEEL LINKAGE — Continued

15. Secure link (3) to arm (6) with screw (7), washer (8), and new locknut (9).

16. Secure other end of link (3) to arm (10) with screw (11), washer (12), and new locknut (13).

NOTE

Make sure bellows is correctly installed and seated in hull bulkhead. The bellows keeps engine

compartment fumes and/or noise from entering the driver’s compartment.

17. Install bellows (1) in driver’s bulkhead. Secure small end of bellows with clamp (2).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Adjust steering linkage (WP 0427 00).

2.

Install driver’s power plant access panel (WP 0441 00).

3.

Close power plant access door. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
