REPLACE 5.0 KW AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU) (M577A3 AND M1068A3) — Continued

Remove NATO cable assembly (17) from NATO plug on right side of APU (1).

3.

Remove fuel supply line from APU connection point (16).

4.

Remove remote panel electrical control cable (6) from APU control panel receptacle (8).

5.

Remove two self-locking nuts (12), screws (9), and four washers (10) from two APU mounting brackets (11).

6.

Remove four screws (13), washers (15), lockwashers (14), and APU (1) from vehicle. Discard lockwashers.

7.

Remove electrical control cable (6) from remote panel (2).

8.

Remove four screws (5), washers (3), lockwashers (4), and remote panel (2) from inside, forward vehicle bulkhead.

Discard lockwashers.

9.

Remove tie straps (7) from cable (6) and remove cable with grommet from vehicle through opening in upper engine

bulkhead.
