REPLACE 5.0 KW AUXILIARY POWER UNIT BUIKHEAD-TO HULL FUEL

SUPPLY HOSES (M577A3 AND M1068A3 ONLY)

INSTALLATION

NOTE

Replacing a flareless fuel hose may also require new mating fittings such as a nipple or elbow.

1.

Install nipple (9) in flange (13) and secure with jamnut (15).

2.

Install new gasket (14) and flange (13) on hull roof and secure with three screws (11) and washers (12).

3.

Install elbow (10) on nipple (9).

4.

Connect fuel hose (2) to nipple (9) in hull ceiling. Route hose over to personnel heater.

5.

6.

Install clamp (6) on fuel hose (2). Secure clamp to bulkhead crossbeam with screw (4) and new lockwasher (5).

7.

Secure fuel hose (2) to personnel heater shield (3) with new strap (1).
