REPLACE COOLANT HEATER — Continued

Check coolant heater. Replace cracked, damaged, or leaky heater. Replace heater that shows burn-through.

INSTALLATION

1.

Apply sealing compound to threads of elbow (1), shut off valve (2), tee (3), elbow (4), and bushings (10)(11).

2.

Install elbow (1) in heater (5).

3.

Install hose (6) on elbow (1). Secure with clamp (7).

4.

Install heater (5) on bracket (8). Secure with two clamps (9).

5.

Install bushing (10) in tee (3).

6.

Install shut off valve (2) in bushing (10).

7.

Install tee (3) in heater (5).

8.

Install bushing (11) in tee (3).

9.

Install elbow (4) in bushing (11).
