REPLACE COOLANT HEATER PUMP — Continued

Install wiring harness (14) on pump (4).

9.

Install ground lead (15) on pump terminal (16). Secure with nut (17).

10. Install circuit 402B lead (18) on pump terminal (19). Secure with nut (20).

11. Install new lockwasher (21) and ground lead (22) on upper pump screw (9). Secure with nut (23).

12. Install circuit 402B lead (18) on terminal strip (24). Secure with screw (25).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install coolant heater and pump unit

(WP 0728 00).

2.

Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00 or WP 0338 00).

3.

Fill carrier cooling system (WP 0227 00).

4.

Fill coolant heater system (WP 0710 00).

5.

Start coolant heater. See TM 9-2350-277-10. Check for leaks. Turn heater off.

6.

Close power plant access door. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
