REPLACE SPEEDOMETER CABLE AND ADAPTER — Continued

1.

Remove screw (1), lockwasher (2), and clamp (3) from bulkhead weldnut.

2.

Remove strap (4) securing speedometer cable (5) to bilge pump hose. Discard strap.

3.

Disconnect speedometer cable (5) from final drive adapter (6) and speedometer (7). Remove cable from clamp (3) and

grommet (8). Discard grommet.

4.

Straighten four tab washers (9). Remove four screws (10), tab washers (9), and final drive adapter from final drive.

Discard tab washers.

5.

Remove preformed packing (11) from adapter (6). Discard packing.
