Air cleaners should be checked daily in dusty

conditions.

a. Check air cleaner restriction indicator (1) for

gage reading. If the air cleaner restriction indica-

tor reads 20 to 24 in. H

2

O, clean the air cleaner

filter packs (2) at the next service interval. If the

air cleaner restriction indicator reads 25 in. H

2

O

or greater, clean and service air cleaner filter

packs. Blow air cleaner filters out with low pres-

sure air and wash with warm water if needed. If

washed, allow air cleaner filters to completely

dry before reinstallation.

b. Check air cleaner doors, seals, and hoses.
