Powertrain assemblies must use lubricating oil

(item 26, Appx D) while under warranty.

NOTE

New transmissions are delivered with preser-

vative PE–10-1 oil. Until first scheduled oil

change, maintain proper oil level by adding

lubricating oil (item 27, Appx D) or lubricating

oil (item 25, Appx D).

Check transmission oil level. Level should be within

the OPERATING RANGE area stamped on dipstick

(1). Add or drain transmission oil as required with

lubricating oil (item 27, Appx D).
